Hello, my name is Ms. Michelle Ayala and I am proudly serving as your assistant principal!
I have proudly worked in education for 16 years. I have taught pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and fourth grade. I have also been a high school coach and an elementary instructional coach.
It is a great privilege to serve as assistant principal for the last six years here at HCISD. I obtained my Masters in Educational Technology Leadership from Lamar University. I am a Seesaw Ambassador, Seesaw Pioneer, Blogger, Pinterest Influencer, and proud mother to 3 adventurous boys.
I am extremely honored and humbled to been selected as Region One TEPSAN of the year 2021 and HCISD Elementary Teacher of the Year 2012.
It is an amazing opportunity to learn alongside so many amazing educational leaders across our great state of Texas.
I am looking forward to meeting and collaborating with all of our STEM2 Prep Innovators.
Together we will have an amazing year!
In the words of George Couros, author of The Innovator’s Mindset:
“Technology will never replace great teachers, but in the hands of great teachers, it’s transformational.”
